Maltby street market!

Maltby street market!
Saturday mornings are meant for Maltby Street Market, especially when the weather is good. You need to get there early in order to taste St John bakery’s amazing custard doughnuts as they run out by midday. Then you can go for a Bloody Mary or a Martini Breakfast at the cute Little Bird Gin bar while sampling dishes from the various stalls. Tozino’s selection is unique and it’s a must if you like jamon as much as I do :)
You can easily spend the morning here, there’s so much to do and the ambience is so relaxed compared to other, more well-known markets. Definitely a lot less touristy, which means that you get to experience London’s unique ability to turn a run-down place into something unpretentiously hip! Where else do you see an antique shop allowing people to sit in the displays and enjoy their wine, food? Plus the wine is served by someone wearing a top hat :)

About the author

This blog aims to become our archive for the few moments in life that are worth remembering. A collection of pictures that represent our "fancy world" or how we would like the real world to be. It will include what we are passionate about; the concept and our favourites might change frequently but the subjects will remain the same; fashion, food, travels, having a good time. Hopefully, in a few years we'll be looking back at those moments of happiness and still feel excited about the choices we made at that point in time, although there are no guarantees :) We hope that the glimpses of our fancy world will help you seek more fancy moments in your life!
