Lunch at Koy Shunka!

Lunch at Koy Shunka!

This Japanese restaurant was recommended to us by two people whose opinion we trust; our favourite food blogger and the chef of the best sushi restaurant in London. It has one Michelin star and is close to the Cathedral, which we wanted to visit anyway, making our lunch reservation the natural choice.

Spaniards, similarly to Greeks, eat late, which normally is what we prefer too, but as we had a dinner booked later on, we had to change our reservation to the earliest possible and we were the only customers for a while.

Service was friendly, efficient and overall great and the food was excellent. As a bonus, sitting at the counter allowed us to watch the skillful chefs work their magic!

Afterwards I wondered around the area admiring the architecture and taking hundreds of pictures before heading back to our hotel for a siesta !
