Culinary trip:Part 4!

Culinary trip:Part 4!

The following morning we drove to Rotterdam before driving back to Belgium to L’Air Du Temps , which was more or less the reason for this short trip. This is another (2-star) restaurant-with-rooms in a remote location, one of those that we so much like. Booking this was a bit of an ordeal, but the food was excellent and it was definitely worth the trip. Thinking of it, I would drive there for those preserved vegetables as often as I could afford to.
The following morning we had breakfast at the restaurant and started our journey back to London, with a planned stop for lunch in Ypres at Souvenir  The restaurant turned out to be one of the success stories of this trip; simple, reasonably priced and very tasty. We’ll be stopping here again for sure, probably for an overnight stay as the city seemed lovely.
