Culinary trip: Part 3!

After a few hours of suffering the afternoon traffic we arrived in Antwerp where we would spend the night. We simply had a few drinks at the hotel’s  bar and fell asleep watching the Cathedral from our bed.
The following morning we took a stroll in the city, did some shopping (after all we were in Antwerp!) and started our short journey back to the Netherlands.
Our dinner and room reservation was at Inter Scaldes, a thatched  manoir with a 2-star restaurant. The food was good but not as memorable as we have hoped, but waking up to the morning sun and watching those ponies was worth the detour.
