Copenhagen Day:3!

Copenhagen Day:3!
Geranium  is one of the two restaurants in Copenhagen with two Michelin stars and was No 49 in 2012’s World’s Best Restaurants list (yes I am slowly working my way throught the list J ). It’s chef, Rasmus Kofoed, won the highly regarded Bocuse D’Or competition in 2011 and has kept the statue along with the silver and bronze from previous years in his kitchen as you can see in one of the pictures below. The restaurant is formal and the staff attentive, the food is great and not only do you have a partial view of the kitchen from the restaurant, you are also invited to have your pre-dessert in the kitchen, allowing you a closer view of the action and some interaction with Rasmus and his talented brigade. This was an excellent and memorable meal, but it was the first time after such a long tasting menu that we did not feel completely stuffed!
Most of the dishes were great with the most memorable being the ceps soup, the burned baked potatoes, the “razor clams”, the turbot with moss and the frozen herb tea with white chocolate.

About the author

This blog aims to become our archive for the few moments in life that are worth remembering. A collection of pictures that represent our "fancy world" or how we would like the real world to be. It will include what we are passionate about; the concept and our favourites might change frequently but the subjects will remain the same; fashion, food, travels, having a good time. Hopefully, in a few years we'll be looking back at those moments of happiness and still feel excited about the choices we made at that point in time, although there are no guarantees :) We hope that the glimpses of our fancy world will help you seek more fancy moments in your life!
